THE STORY

A wheated bourbon (wheat replaces rye in the mash bill) aged fifteen years, Pappy is velvet, dark fruit and toffee in a bottle — and nearly impossible to buy at retail.

Nose

Sweet cherry, vanilla, dark chocolate, leather.

Palate

Thick toffee, tobacco, dried fruit and spice.

Finish

Extremely long, soft oak and honey.

Aging process

Fifteen years in new charred oak in Kentucky rickhouses, then bottled at barrel proof-adjacent strength.
