THE STORY

Four Roses uses ten distinct bourbon recipes. The single barrel selection (OBSV) is fruity, floral and gently spicy with a long, smooth finish.

Nose

Ripe plum, red apple, vanilla, a hint of cocoa.

Palate

Cherry, spice, mint, soft caramel.

Finish

Long, spicy and slightly sweet.

Aging process

Single-barrel, aged seven to nine years in new charred oak in single-storey rickhouses at Cox’s Creek.

Terroir & region

Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Single-storey warehouses minimise temperature swings.
